The project team have met on a regular basis during the generation of the project over the past year and we have designed workshop plans that suit our creative disciplines. The workshops will be led by Andy whilst in the UK and Mat (Creative Villages Ltd) will manage the technological home base whilst Andy is abroad, whilst also supporting the school teachers. We will all combine to consolidate the results of the activities into a legacy to be proud of.
Andy is responsible for the introduction of what Fairy Tales are to the schools. He and the teachers will convey the ideology and inspire the children through use of published work, including the Seven Stories book based resource pack, which will provide context and an international sense of different versions of the yeti tale.
Mat will enable all the school team leaders to become confident in using the tools associated with accessing the internet web based component of the project.
The core members of the staff teams from both schools (six from each) and the artist will attend a CPD training day at the start of the project hosted by Seven Stories education team. The organisation of this event has been planned by Seven Stories and is an activity that they are experienced at presenting over many occasions in the past. This meeting has been agreed and will occur on the 20th of September 2011.
