About the Author
Roy Apps writes for TV and radio as well as authoring many books for children, including the My Barmy Aunt Boomerang books, which were published by Bloomsbury in the 90s. He lives in East Sussex. What I’ve done: After receiving a new mission from Mr. Kesar Lall (Nepals most famous Yeti Tale Hunter) I decided to go on an adventure following the Trishuli River Valley in the shadows of Gosain-kunda and the Langtang Mountain range. Perhaps you can find these places on your maps? To find out what happened, including humming birds, owls and bananas, take a look at the latest articles I’ve sent you all.
I hope you are having fun creating new fairy tale stories in Hylton Red House and Old Hall Drive. I look forward to reading them on the web-site. There will be three final workshops at Life Vision Academy.

Thank you for your “WANTED” posters from Old Hall Drive and extra special thanks to Liam from Hylton Red House for your email home work. Liam is now a full member of the Guild of Fairy tale Hunters. Well done Liam I am very impressed with your hard work. All the work you are doing is being sent to the web-site by your teachers so check-out the “kid’s cave” on the site.
What I want you to do for me: Please tell me if you like the books you are reading in class about fairy tales. What do you think fairy tales tell us about the world? The children here do not study art, music or drama, can you imagine school with-out those subjects? I look forward to articles about them.
Thank you to your teachers for all their hard work and I look forward to your next mission for me to complete.
Where next: I think I said I was working on the 5th January by mistake (!!!) in my last mission blog…of course I meant to say February (…how time flies by so quickly when we are out adventuring). So to re-cap I have 3 final art workshops over the next week, here in Kathmandu. So “get-your-skates-on” UK students, if you want to send the students of Life Vision Academy any final messages!
I’m taking shelter from massive thunder storms back in Kathmandu for my last week here then I will travel across the mountains past Everest and on to Sikkim. Why do you think I am going there?

BIG BAD BIGFOOT FOUND IN HYLTON DENE!!!!!!!!!
Bigfoot hunters have found evidence of the Yeti yesterday. A big unusual creature was found in Hylton Dene.
Yesterday evening some Bigfoot hunters found out about a Yeti and they described the Yeti about 10feet tall with enormous furry body parts snowy white fur red eyes and big sharp teeth. Unfourtunely people claimed that the Yeti has a really bad temper.
Scientists have found twisted and strangly trees in Hylton Dene. They were shaped into an arch shape people thought that they were from Gorillas and Orangatans so its likely to be a Yeti. People have found 94 twisted trees and 49 snapped.
Researches from all over the world have come together to plan and discuss what they will do when they have found all the evidence. They will also talk about what evidence they have got so far. They will be meeting at the Stadium of Light.
The Yeti is supposed to be found in the Himalayas never the less it was found in Hylton Den. Sometimes they live in mountains in America. They build nests when they find thing to make it with. Another thing they love to eat out of bins and sometimes off the floor. Most of the time they make them slowly or fast.
One of the biologists quoted “I’m nearly 70so time is running out for me.”
Most of the local people went to the police officer and he reported, “It’s a mythical creature and he came from the Himalayas.”
At the moment the scientists are still finding evidence now and they will not stop searching until they find a YETI!!!

Big bad yeti sighting
Yesterday evening the legendary yeti was spotted by local people from Hylton Red House Primary in Sunderland.
Locals had spotted an enormous beast that is 10 feet tall, with a large hairy snowy body, red eyes, sharp teeth .The scary is a really evil mysterious monster, which has a really bad temper.
The fearful yeti lays eggs, which turn into twigs, and witnesses, had said, “They sore a white snowy enormous creature that had been laying some white little eggs. When the yeti lays eggs and the trees have 94 twigs on it.
Bigfoot experts had meet from all over the world to find a yeti and Dr Brindernagel says” He has to be quick because he is 70 years old “ and he might not have time. The scientist had met at the stadium of light in Sunderland to plan the next visit.
A police officer from the area reported that he say an ugly creature walking next to the exiting adventure playground. The shadow was a big and ugly furry creature. The police officer said, “ I saw an large figure moving towards me “. The ugly monster saw the police so the monster walked towards them.
At the moment the scientists are trying to find a yeti like creature and the police is investigating where the yeti is gone now. Big Bad Bigfoot Found at Red House
Yesterday evening the legendary yeti was spotted by the local people of Hylton Red House.
The people who had seen the Yeti described the unusual creature as being about 7 foot tall, with thick, black fur and huge sharp claws. Claims have been made that the Yeti has an enormous temper.
The town folk reported that they seen trees that were twisted into an arch shape and most of them were snapped. These were the, strongest trees in Sunderland so the locals could only describe this as a mythical creature; some of the locals even say that the creature is like a Yeti.
Bigfoot experts have met up from all over the world at London to gather the proof of the Yeti nesting at Red House.
A doctor from the area reports that he had seen a Yeti in the school grounds of Hylton Red House Primary School. He quoted,
“I was terrified and surprised when I seen it because I thought that it was going to brake a window or part of the fence.”
Currently the biologists are still trying to get the best evidence of the Yeti really does exist.
